It all starts
with a thread.

Engineering firms, manufacturers, SMEs: your workshop validates, we industrialize. Custom FDM production, from single parts to large series, at a tolerance of ±0.1 mm, on the Klipper printers we design ourselves.

Who we are

PSL3D is a French industrial FDM 3D printing production workshop, based in Occitanie (Pic Saint-Loup). We produce your custom parts, from single units to large series, on open-source Klipper printers that we design and calibrate ourselves - a local, sovereign production capability, with no dependence on closed supply chains.

The observation

The paradox of the in-house workshop.

Your additive manufacturing manager is a true "one-person orchestra", a versatile expert juggling daily with a diversity of machines, complex software and innovative materials. Thanks to deep mastery of every link in the chain, they turn ideas into concrete prototypes with remarkable efficiency.

Their expertise has built a particularly rich catalogue of validated parts, a true pillar of your R&D department's performance. This ability to quickly explore, test and validate new designs is one of the most strategic assets of your product innovation.

The hybrid model

You innovate. We produce.

Stop treating your workshop as an isolated entity. Adopt a hybrid strategy that combines your in-house agility with our specialized production power.

01
Your workshop

Validation & prototyping

Your team, expert in your products, develops and validates the perfect prototype on your versatile machine fleet. You keep full control of the innovation phase.

02
Together

Optimization & planning

Once the part is validated, our experts work with your manager to optimize the design for series production (DfAM), ensuring fair-cost manufacturing and flawless repeatability.

PSL3D

FDM series production

We take it from there. Our 3D printer farm, dedicated and optimized for FDM production, manufactures your parts in small, medium or large series, with the quality and traceability you demand.

Our machines

We don't just print. We design the machines.

Our production farm runs on printers that we design, assemble and calibrate ourselves, built on proven open-source foundations (Klipper). Every machine is built for one thing: producing repeatable FDM parts, in series, with no surprises.

And we sell them. Enjoy documented machines, proven in real production and delivered calibrated - with the training and support of a workshop that runs them every day.

Our story
Series production of the MX mosquito trap
MX Trap · IRD · Africa / French GuianaSeries

From passion to scientific mission.

PSL3D's story is one of a fascination with technology that found its true calling. The 2020 lockdown was a turning point: by relentlessly producing face shields for caregivers, we realized the potential of additive manufacturing to meet critical needs.

In early 2022, our collaboration with researchers from IRD and the French Armed Forces Health Service to industrialize production of the MX mosquito trap was a revelation. By optimizing the design to go from 70 hours down to under 2 hours per unit, and producing nearly 400 devices shipped worldwide, we validated our model.
